As a storyteller, I’ve sought to tell stories that maximize impact and minimize complexity. Data is boring, it’s the stories around data that make it so fascinating. Simple yet intuitive visualizations are at the core of any story I tell.
As a business analytics student, I utilized my learnings to add value for my clients, be it as an analytics consultant to a national chain retailer’s analytics team as a part of industry practicum or the several made-up companies in my class projects.
As a product engineer, I led a small team of engineers and collaborated with product and design teams to develop a revamped version of a 20-year-old dashboard using Vue.js and SQL which saw an adoption rate of 100% within 90 days of release. Many termed this dashboard as the “Heart of the company”. I was the bridge between clients, product managers, designers, and engineers.
As a problem solver, I’ve utilized my expertise in languages like Python, SQL, JavaScript, Vue.js, D3.js & R to solve problems and tools like Tableau & PowerPoint to present solutions. Innovation and creativity in my solutions have helped me deliver more-than-expected results.
